They act on keratinocytes as well as inducing a reaction in fibroblasts in the dermis. This helps to stimulate the production of Hyaluronic Acid, collagen and elastin in the skin, all of which degrade as we age. By stimulating their production, skin hydration and elasticity are improved, which has the effect of smoothing out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.Phycojuvenine – an extract of brown algae, rich in polysaccharides, polyphenols and polyols.
